Think local, act global

Think local, act global. The big brains in New Zealand have studied things and determined that if you raise critters and crops where it's cheap and ship them where people want to consume them it consumes less of that icky carbon ..
it is four times more energy-efficient for Londoners to buy lamb imported from the other side of the world than to buy it from a producer in their backyard. Similar figures were found for dairy products and fruit.
