And what does Tulsa - my home town - want me to pay for? $9 million dollars worth of bridge. To replace this one.

As it happens, I used the bridge for a summer in 1995 to get to work from the parking lot on the far side.
And it is a hazard - built in the 1930s it's falling down.
Interstate bridges, I can see why Federal tax money should be used. State highways, sure. But why in the heck are we being asked to pony up money to replace a bridge whose sole reason is to enable commuters to get to work in downtown Tulsa?
